Anyone who watched Angus Wall’s Netflix doc on Eddie Murphy, Being Eddie, expecting earth-splitting, scandalous revelations that will make you rethink your whole conception of what it means to be Eddie Muprhy, clearly doesn’t know that celebrities like Eddie Murphy don’t sign deals with Netflix expecting their soiled undies to be paraded before the world. That’s something we all learn to come to grips with, eventually — no?
